Terms of Service

By accessing the TechHK platform, you acknowledge that you are entering an elite engineering environment. You agree to abide by our technical standards, vetting processes, and community-driven build-in-public mandates. Usage of our API or participation in bounties constitutes a formal agreement to these terms.

Participants retain 100% ownership of the original code produced during monthly challenges. However, to foster the African tech ecosystem, you grant TechHK a worldwide, royalty-free license to:

• Feature your project in the TechHK Global Hall of Fame.
• Excerpts of code for educational 'Deep Dive' engineering blogs.
• Use your X-thread documentation for community growth metrics.

Bounties (e.g., ₦150,000) are awarded based on technical merit as determined by the TechHK Vetting Committee. To be eligible for payout:

• • Project must be open-sourced on a public repository.
• • Documentation must include a "Build Logic&qout; breakdown.
• • Plagiarized or low-effort AI wrappers will be disqualified immediately.
