By accessing the TechHK platform, you acknowledge that you are entering a professional technology career community. You agree to abide by our community standards, vetting processes, and build-in-public mandates.
Participation in challenges, purchase of credits, or use of any TechHK service constitutes a formal agreement to these terms in full.
These terms apply to all users regardless of membership tier — Soft Trial, Credit-Based, or Unlimited Access members.
Participants retain 100% ownership of any original project produced during monthly challenges or through the platform. TechHK makes no claim over your work, code, or creative output.
However, by submitting a challenge entry you grant TechHK a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to:
- Feature your project in the TechHK Global Hall of Fame
- Use your project as a case study for community growth and recruitment visibility
- Share your X-thread documentation for community engagement metrics
This license does not transfer ownership. You remain the sole owner and may use, sell, or open-source your work freely at any time.
Challenge rewards are awarded based on technical merit as determined by the TechHK Vetting Committee. All decisions are final and binding.
Plagiarized submissions, low-effort AI wrappers, or projects that violate community standards will be disqualified immediately with no right of appeal.
TechHK is a professional community. Members are expected to maintain the highest standards of integrity, respect, and collaboration at all times — both on and off the platform.
- Treat all community members with respect regardless of skill level
- Do not share, reproduce, or redistribute paid course guide content
- Do not misrepresent your skills, credentials, or challenge submissions
- Do not engage in harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory behaviour
- Maintain the integrity of the challenge and peer review process
TechHK provides the platform, course guides, challenges, and community tools on an "as is" basis. While we strive for the highest quality, we do not guarantee specific career outcomes, job placements, or income results.
TechHK shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, income, or opportunities.
Credits and membership fees are non-refundable once consumed or activated. Please review all plan details carefully before purchasing.
TechHK reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate any membership that violates these terms, without prior notice and without refund, at our sole discretion.
- Accounts found to be fraudulent will be immediately terminated
- Banned members may not re-register under a different identity
- Appeals may be submitted via the feedback system within 14 days
Circumventing platform security, manipulating challenge results, or exploiting the credit system will result in immediate permanent termination and potential legal action.
